• To begin with THANK YOU. An excellent plugin, well designed and well executed.

I used the plugin to prevent visitors from placing on-line orders in Woo Commerce on a take out restaurant website after closing hours. Since the opening and closing hours varied through the week (see below) I used the nested short codes with the “daily” and “weekly” combination to achieve the desired results.

    Timmings:
    Mon – Thu : 11 am – 10 pm
    Fri – Sat : 11 am – 11 pm
    Sunday: 12 pm – 9 pm

While using the nested short codes I however noticed that using “1” in the name (e.g. [time-restrict-repeat-1]) is not allowed. This is not explicitly obvious in the description and took me some time to figure out! May I suggest that you consider adding this minor clarification to the description.

That said, this is a brilliant plugin that can be used in multiple ways. Keep it up brother.

I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying the plugin so much.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll adjust the plugin docs to make this a bit clearer.

Great plugin! A little unclear on how to set it up but I just saw sanjaisc post!! ??

    Hi sanjaisc,

Can you provide some further assistance on how you set this up to the woocommerce orders?

We are restaurant going online and are also using woocommerce. We are doing it in house and are learning its best to talk to other wordpressors to get assistance ??

Looking forward to hearing how you are getting this to work!

    Hi dej888,

Simple, just enclose the shopping cart/ checkout short code in Woo Commerce within the ‘Show/Hide Content at Set Time’ short code with the daily time option to match your opening and closing time. The plugin will restrict access to the cart/ checkout when your restaurant is closed. Visitors will be able to browse your menu but not place orders outside of opening hours.

If you want to go further you can create another setting that displays a “Sorry We Are Closed – Please Come Back Later” message when people attempt to place orders during your ‘closed’ hours.

@sanjaisc, Please don’t solicit work from these forums.

I have sent you message for a little more clarification on this.

    @sanjaisc

Looking for assistance on how you achieved this. Can you touch in kindly ??
