    Hi,

sorry for the delay. We were visiting our families and I was out of the office.
Can you please share more info with me so I can check it out? I’m not sure how this can be a theme issue.

    All the best,
    Ana

    Hi Ana,

Now I have to apologize for the delay. I solved that issue, but now there’s an issue with WooCommerce (go figure):
    https://paulysguitarjournal.com/product/carcassi-opus-59/

I’m getting warning codes on top of the page. I’m not sure how to attach a screenshot here.

Hmm that’s strange and it’s related to the WooCommerce. Do you want me to contact them or you will try to contact them on your own? Till then you can change in wp-config.php file into this: define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false ); – https://kinsta.com/blog/wp-config-php/#debug-mode-saving-queries

Can you please check if the single and single-product templates have been modified from the Site Editor. In order to know, you can go to Appearance > Editor > Templates and check the Added by column of the Single and Single Product templates.

I’ll try to check it tomorrow in my local installation to see if I can reproduce the issue. If it’s theme I’ll fix it asap but not sure it is theme related.

single-product and Single Post are both added by Bricksy. I don’t see a template just named “Single.”

If you can contact them that would be great (I’m sure that your other customers are having similar problems). The setup I have doesn’t allow me to change the wp-config.php

I apologize. I’m a bit behind on my emails. Thank you for all your help.

    Hi Paul,

can you please check one more thing for me? When you switch to the default theme do you see the same notice? Default theme doesn’t have support for Woo, but just to check this too. To get as much info as possible.

Also did u maybe modify templates in the Site Edit?

    Thanks,
    Ana

No, I didn’t make any changes to the templates (I did make a change after, but just removed the feature image for the post and pages. That was after Woo messed up and didn’t have anything to do with their templates). I’m not sure which default theme you’re asking me to try, so I did both the WooCommerce Default and the WordPress 2022 default.

The error was not there on either theme. Only on Bricksy.

    Hi Paul,

would you mind creating account for me on your website to be able to check a bit further. I can’t recreate this issue on my installation with Bricksy theme and WooCommerce is not able to help more without more info. Would you be able to create an account for me and send me the info via our email: [email protected]?
What you can try to navigate in the Edit Site and reset single-product template and other WooCommerce templates there.

    Hi Paul,

I finally found the issue, it’s a LearnPress plugin. I deactivated it and everything is fine.
I needed some time to recreate it on my website, install all the plugins you have and deactivate plugins, one by one and this one is causing the warning.

Also the real cookie banner is not the best, trows warnings too, when you have a debug mode active.

    Hope this helps,
    Ana

    Hi Ana,

Looks better now. Do you recommend a plugin to replace Real Cookie Banner? Also, I did a text removal (text-align: -9999px) and image replacement on the logo, so that my SEO would recognize that there was an h1 on the page, but it lost the homepage link. I wasn’t able to put the image in the “a” tag. Any thoughts?

    Hi Paul,

so sorry for the delay, I was working on million things lately, updates, testing WordPress 6.1… I’ll get back to you during the weekend.

    Best,
    Ana
