Breaks WordPress site

The plugin update has broken almost every site I am using this on (only a few are still working–which is hundreds of sites down!! Some were set for auto-update and they are all down and I am getting bombarded with support calls, chats, emails! Any fix?
This is the message I am sending out:
This may or may not affect you, but if your portal site is down and giving the following message:“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
It is the LearnPress Plugin that did an update. It is being confirmed by the ISP.
Either FTP to the plugin directory and disable (just rename learnpress.old, etc. – do NOT delete), or have your ISP do it (takes seconds). I am in contact with the vendor. Once fixed, we can turn it back on.
