Breaks WordPress functionality

Installing this plugin OR the pro version causes several problems. I use a variation of underscores for development, so it’s highly doubtful that it had anything to do with the theme I was using.

When saving settings, sometimes it would work. But sometimes it logs me out of WordPress. Other times it takes me to a blank page with ‘data:,’ in the browser url field. The plugin is most definitely unstable.

I emailed the developer describing the problem pretty quickly after receiving his email saying I should upgrade. So I upgraded to pro, emailed right away and didn’t get a response back for a couple of days. At that point he wanted to login to my clients site… but it was too late. I had moved on and found another solution. He refuses to refund for the pro version. I should have checked reviews before trying either version.
