• I’m leaving a low star review as a warning to folks who are interested in using this plugin to bulk update their subscriptions created with WooCommerce Subscriptions.

We’ve seen a couple of sites with sitewide issues after bulk exporting/importing for the purpose of bulk changing the products on their subscriptions, so I tested locally.

I discovered that if you bulk export, and then immediately import your subscriptions, even with no changes, you will have (at least) two side effects:

    • Your subscriptions will all be set to pending status after import.
    • Each renewal order will have a creation date identical to the subscription parent order’s creation date. This means that if the initial parent order was from 2 years ago, each new renewal order will have that same date (from 2 years ago).

There may be other side effects, but I would warn anyone to test any export/import with subscriptions very carefully on a staging site before deploying to live, and be aware of what you’re getting into.
