Breaks the site layout after update.

I updated a few hours back and found that the site layout has been completely broken, because of a mistake in the wp-postratings.php
at line 83
it is written as
$loading = ‘<‘ . $start_tag . ‘id=”post-ratings-‘it has to be ( with a space between div and id )
$loading = ‘<‘ . $start_tag . ‘ id=”post-ratings-‘I rectified and the site is fine now.
