• It seems the bug that breaks the password reset, specifically with WooCommerce’s password reset is back again (in the latest version of the plugin).

    When a customer goes to reset their password, it takes them to the wp-admin login page and never sends a password reset e-mail, this is what happened about 8-9 months ago.

    Please advise.

    FWIW, we’re still using WooCommerce v2.6.x for a few more months. So I don’t know if it’s a compatibility issues, although we’ve had to disable the reCaptcha plugin as it won’t allow customers to reset their passwords, they submit an e-mail and then it just takes the them to the wp-admin login.

    Any updates on this resolve? If a customer selects to reset a page from WooCommerce’s ‘My Account’, and proceeded to enter their e-mail address for the reset procedures to be mailed; it simply just takes them to the wp-admin page and never sends the reset e-mail. If the plugin is disabled, it works like normal.

    Please advise.

    This is still broken, even after version 1.2. If a user/customer goes to the WooCommerce login and then attempts to reset their password, upon entering their e-mail address it will take them to wp-login.php that is redirected to wp-admin and a reset e-mail is never processed.

    Any updates? If I enable the plugin, it breaks the WooCommerce password reset and just takes them to the wp-admin login.

    I know this occurred with an earlier version of the plugin and it was resolved, it would appear that issue has reared it’s head once again.

    FWIW, we’re still using WC 2.6.14, although I would have to assume the authors would write WC compatibility for 2.6, 3.x and 3.3x as done by others plugin devs, at least until 2.6 is completely depreciated.

    This is not only an issue with WooCommerce. I am using it with a custom theme and login flow without WooCommerce and I am having the same issue.

    I’m happy to provide access to troubleshoot.

    Hi jcleaveland,
    Unfortunately due to the lack of response from the author, we’ve since moved onto using “Google Captcha Pro (reCAPTCHA) by BestWebSoft”. It has a yearly subscription, although, so far it’s been worth every cent.
