Breaks image upload in Safari

I am using Safari with no Flash plugin.
With this plugin installed in my site:
* I cannot drag images into the Upload Files screen. If I try, the background does not highlight, and my browser tries to leave the page to display the image.
* The Select Files button in the Upload Files screen does nothing when clicked.
