thanks for this valuable feedback, just to clarify,

After correcting the number to be within limits, the error message is still displayed. Nevertheless, the form can now be submitted without further error message.

once submitted the error msg persists on the field? I have noticed that a message disappears when typing the field and then shows up again when moving the focus out of the field. This is an issue with the CF7 plugin js script that controls this.

Nonetheless, will investigate it to see if I can do anything about it.

yes they should. I have a suspicion that this is a bug on the CF7 plugin. Can you test this with the Smart Grid disabled to see if it persists?

You’re right re: alpha characters. With CF7 Smart Grid disabled and just creating a form in Contxact Form 7, entering alpha characters does not throw an error.

So I guess we’ll need to report this to them and hope for a resolution…

@antonv since you seem interested in the development of this plugin, I am inviting you to join some of us to discuss improvements to the UI. One user has proposed a detailed re-structuring of the UI and this is something I would prefer to finalise with inputs from other users.
