breaks Co-Authors Plus in admin

If I have the Meta Boxes plugin active and any metaboxes defined, the jquery functions in post editing mode of the Co-Authors Plus plugin stop working. I can still have multiple co-authors, but I can no longer delete or edit them. My strong suspicion is that there is a jQuery selector in the Meta Boxes admin code that is blocking something.
