Holy shmoly, thanks for reporting this, Li-An!

I’ll try to release a fix in the next couple of hours. In the meantime, simply deactivating the plugin will help. Just reactivate it after updating and you should be good to go.

By the way I’m already working on the next version where you can add/edit/remove custom menu items (here’s a demo).

I will let you know when the fix is ready!

    Cheers,
    Pascal

OK, I will wait for it’s release.

    Hi Li-An

This was a quite an interesting bug to solve! It was related to the localization of strings, so it only happens when the WordPress backend is not in English and a plugin is properly translated. Luckily I have a local dev site in German, otherwise I wouldn’t get the idea ??

Long story short: I just pushed version 1.0.2 of the plugin with a small fix that addresses this bug. I can’t guarantee that it doesn’t break any other stuff, but it worked well here.

Note: If it doesn’t seem to work right away, try to completely uninstall the plugin and then install the new version.

OK it works but I had to uninstall the plugin.

Ok, that’s great to hear Li-An!

In version 2.0 of the plugin there will be a reset functionality to avoid such scenarios. Anyway, glad it’s working now.

    Thanks again for your help!

I will be… I have a plugin review blog and will make a review – well – when I will find the time.
