Breaks all plugins

  • I was eager to try this plugin after reading about optimizing my site, but alas it has broken nearly all of my plugins that are on my homepage after turning on the optimize js feature and playing with those settings to no avail.

    On my homepage the critical elements that break are foobar, revolution slider, royal slider and owl carousel. I even tried excluding jquery in your list and nothing.

    How could it be breaking all of these things? Royal Slider, Rev Slider and Foobar are installed via plugins. Owl Carousel is included in my enqueue scripts call.

    Please advise.

    excluding jquery is just the start, really ?? have a look at the FAQ on how to proceed with troubleshooting

    some quick hints; look at your browser’s error console, try enabling/ disabling “aggregate inline JS” and/or “force in head” and indeed try with and without jquery.js excluded, if a combination of those options does not work, you’ll have to dive a little deeper, excluding specific JS for those plugins.

    alternatively you could (with a couple of lines of code) disable JS optimization specifically for the homepage, let me know if you’d want to that instead of the trial-and-error-approach above.
