A client’s client put this on his site, and it appears to be hijacking the WP template flow. It’s not correctly loading category.php and replacing it with the sub-template “full-width.php”. This is with twenty twelve.

The actual theme is a heavily modified copy of twenty twelve, but until the plugin works fine with twenty-twelve, I can’t tell the client it’s ok to use your plugin.

It’s a setting. Please navigate to the backend under settings. There is a drop down that says, “Select template, or let WordPress choose.”

Hrm. That setting is a little misleading then. When I “Let WordPress Choose” it no longer breaks the entire site. But if a template is selected, that template overrides the default template everywhere a specific template isn’t specified, not only on bracket post types.

My client is no longer using the plugin and it’s well into March Madness, (I think they went with ESPN), but it’s probably not a hard fix. I’ll see if I can’t hunt down the greedy code and submit a patch over the weekend.

Definitely welcome the input. Thinking it might be something related to the theme though. I can’t recreate it when using Twenty Twelve. That portion of the code is in lib/functions.php around line 80. Let me know what you figure out. Thanks!
