Breaking our site.

  • Anytime I disable the plugin it breaks the site. It’s not loading certain things like header images. And now I re-enabled it and it’s still doing it. We have a business website and this is causing huge issues because certain things are not visible. Creating a huge mess and yes, I’ve deleted the cache etc. Please help!!

    In general: when AO is not active, it cannot interfere with your site any more. the only thing that _can_ happen is that your HTML is cached and that that cached HTML still refers to AO’ed CSS/ JS.

    Specific to your site; I’ve compared the site with AO (JS only so it seems) and without (by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL) and the page looks identical.

    So I’m not entirely sure what is going wrong here @bgbandya. Can you make some screenshots maybe and have a look at what your browser’s error console is saying with regards to possible javascript errors?
