The bug is not only in the PRO version. Also in the free one. I had to deactivate it to be able to see my images. The bug is serious. They must fix it.

I will wait for an update, as I spent too much time today trying to find which plugin caused all the sudden issues. I will not be submitting a support ticket, as I am NOT activating it again to be a beta tester.

@scion529 @portalmundoagro Thanks for reporting this, but please be specific in your details. What exactly is the issue you’re seeing on your sites? We have not had any other other reports so we need to understand what’s different with your sites.

I rolled back to the previous version and the problem was fixed, now I have control of my images again.

That’s good to hear, @portalmundoagro. For anyone else posting here, please share details and we’ll do our best to fix whatever’s happening. If you need a solution right this second, rollback to the previous version.

I was specific reporting this: could not see images in Media Library, hanging up with hourglass spin; Duplicator Pro backups stopping at 5%, white screens when trying to deactivate Taxopress Pro, would not deactivate and had to go on server side to do so. If that is not detailed enough I do not know what else to say, except I spent a good hour going through my cache and other updates to find it was this update. It turned my site’s admin area into a snail crawl with hangups.

Due to the new version of the plugin, the first line in simple-tags/inc/related-posts.php contains an extra line, causing a “Cannot modify header information” issue. You can manually remove the empty line at the beginning of this file to resolve the issue and allow it to function properly.

Due to the bug (blank line in the mentioned file) that came with the latest update (3.24.0), we couldn’t select a category anymore, that is: it resulted in a white screen.

Removing the blank line from the plugins/simple-tags/inc/related-posts.php file solved this bug.

Thanks for reporting this everyone. Version 3.24.1 is now out with the fix. I’m closing this thread for now. Please start a new thread if you have any more issues to report.
