becomes this

after I save the page.

Hi, yes, lack of link sanitization were a security concern. Encoded link should work just fine. It even works when you try to click it.

We’re not stripping characters but encoding them so they are safe to store. Browsers can process them correctly.

The characters are stripped on my site. I just gave you an example and if you click it, it doesn’t work.
