    Hey,

after Update WP to 5.7, the Twenty Fifteen Theme to 2.9 all is right. After Update Yarpp to 5.14.0 the layout on Home is completly broken, the Content is in the middle on Desktop like Smartphone Display Size 250-300 px.
    CSS issues?
Next Time i want to go for PHP 8.0 is the Plugin ready?

  • Same issue here (on WP 5.6.2 using Astra them). Yarpp 5.14 breaks layout of our blog completely. Had to roll back to 5.13.1.

Same here. It broke 5 of my sites built with oxygen. I had to roll back to 5.13.1.

If the devs want I have the current plugin on a staging site that I’m happy to send the URL and create a temp login for if you want to try to diagnose.

You may trust this developer/author, but it normalizes a dangerous practice. It’s a fine line, but one that we need to enforce. Thanks for your cooperation.

Sorry about that, was going to create a login URL on a staging with logs enabled but I get it!

Happy to provide front-end URLs nonetheless.

@mnelson4 I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves.

Hmmm ok @sterndata but I was asking for a public URL to view the issue on the frontend of the website, not for admin credentials. But no worries.

Anyways, thanks everyone for sharing some info. I’m still a bit stumped and unable to reproduce the problem which is making it hard to isolate.
Would you mind sharing the Health Check data here? Here’s how:

    1. on WordPress 5.1 and earlier, install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin; on WordPress 5.2 and later skip this
    2. Go to the WordPress admin dashboard
    3. under “Tools”
    4. click “Site Health”
    5. click “Info” tab
    6. click “Copy info to clipboard”
    7. paste it
    Here’s a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QWKgzJ65JKScDkoBIcqqEDulEMjMtfTV/view

Hopefully that will help us figure out why some folks are having this issue but not others.

    @mnelson4

Same issue here with disabled theme using Oxygen Builder. I’m not publicly posting the requested site info because it contains sensitive info.

I will gladly share by email though.

I’ve asked Oxygen Builder folks for a copy of their plugin for debugging.
But for now we have a version of our plugin that appears to might fix the issue.
If anyone’s able to test that would be appreciated. Here’s how:

    1. Download the new version from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WtFW8_J0Sqyfu-7bogvpGlX-QLTtlN4l/view
    2. Go to your WordPress dashboard, click plugins, then “add new”, then “upload” and select the zip file you just downloaded
    3. Deactivate the previous version of YARPP
    4. Activate the new version of YARPP

    The issue should be resolved.

YARPP 5.15.1 will hopefully address the layout issue you all were facing. It’s a bit of a mystery what exactly was causing this (we managed to test YARPP and Oxygen Builder using their sandbox site) but couldn’t reproduce the issue.
If you continue to have the same layout issues with YARPP please chime in and share some of the debug info mentioned earlier.

While we’re still a bit fuzzy on why YARPP 5.14.0 had this problem, we’re really sorry there was this problem and hope to avoid it in the future.
