Anyone have any thoughts on how to break large entries into a series of smaller parts connected together through pagination? I thought there was a plugin, but I can’t find it…

  • What about using the <!--nextpage--> Quicktag?
(In the quicktags.js is commented out, so it doesn’t appear, but it works!)
see an example https://www.transycan.net/blogtest/ – the latest post.

See here on how to edit your quicktags file to reinstate it:

Sweet. That worked. Just a quick point for future users who might use 1.6 (as I do, but is not generally available), the quicktags.js file has been moved (presuming your location was actually where it was before) to wp-includes/js/quicktags.js.

It also doesn’t add a button when using the TinyMCE interface.

    ??

BTW, if you use 1.6 you are supposed to be a “tester” or developer – which means more knowledge than the average forum user/helper, so you shouldn’t ask here for help, I guess. No support is provided here for 1.6. Period.

Thank you, moshu. I appreciate you calling me out on something that really does not pertain to this question. I never said version info and I didn’t need you to hold my hand, just point out something that I did NOT know.

I never said it in my request, Podz. Figure it out. You’re a bright guy.
