    Hi

I’ve run into a problem with the custom Facebook feed plugin with the latest WP4.5 install. After updating to 4.5 the admin backend started behaving badly, with some widget details missing (e.g. the Jetpack stats graph on the dashboard not showing up), page content blank (e.g. media library not showing the list of media, and Jetpack’s ‘appearance->edit css page blank), ‘select all’ not working in any of the lists, etc.

I deactivated all the plugins and then one-by-one activated them. Unfortunately, the custom Facebook feed plugin seems to be the culprit. When I activate it things seem to go haywire again.

Wondered if anyone else has seen this behaviour?

No problem Jim, glad to hear the issue is resolved now. If you have any issues in future then just let me know.

Actually, John, I spoke too soon. I use the Divi theme from Elegant Themes. After updating to WP4.5, I have two symptoms which only appear if the Custom Facebook Feed Pro Business plugin version 2.6.6.2 is activated. Both are in the backend.

One, I cannot edit pages in Divi. The Divi editor just doesn’t show up. If I deactivate the plugin, the editor opens when I edit the page. Two, on the /wp-admin/network/update-core.php page, the items appear out-of-place if the plugin is activated but not if it’s deactivated.

This only happened with the WP4.5 update. Before that, everything was working fine.

The error I get from inspecting both pages is “Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #cff-admin a[href*=#]:not([href=#])”.

Whoops. Never mind. I updated to version 2.6.6.3, and everything is back to the way it should be. Thanks for fixing it before my report of the problem. ??

    Hi,
I’m having the same issue on this website: talentgaming.com. How can I update to the last version of the pro version?
    Thanks in advance
    Ricardo

    Hey Ricardo,

Because you are asking a question about the paid version I am going to have to ask you to submit your inquiry here.

To maintain compliance with the forum rules we can only provide answers pertaining to plugin issues that would apply to the free version as well.

Once you submit the request I’ll be happy to assist you further. Thanks for understanding.
