    Hi,

    Response to your issues as below,

    You need to update theme custom structure for permalink settings. Plugin “projects” custom post type and categories configured with custom taxonomies. It will not affect the actual source of WordPress core and themes.

    As I have clarified your queries , I would like to close this thread as resolved.
