    Hi,

my blog page sits as child page here:

    “Aktuelles” –> “News / Blog”

    URL is correct:

    “.de/aktuelles/news-blog/”

But breadcrumps are not correct and miss the parent site “Aktuelles” and show up like this:

    “Startseite ? News / Blog”

Any idea why this happens? Can u replicate that?

    Regards

  • Hello @artankrasniqi1988,

Technically, you cannot set an archive page as a child page in WordPress. This is a configuration error on the building website, and OceanWP theme doesn’t support this structure for the archive page(as a child page).

Posts and pages are separate entities in WordPress and cannot be organized in the same hierarchical structure. Posts are typically organized by tags and categories, while pages can be organized as child pages. You must manage the posts and URLs by categories and tags instead of using child archive pages.

    Hi @skalanter,

thx for your reply. Everything works fine and I could perfectly set the blog page as child page in the page settings and it already works. I will leave my structure as it is because everything works fine, except the breadcrumps.

I will write a function where I set my own individual link “Aktuelles” before the last breadcrump in this case, so it matches the correct hierarchy of the blog page.

    Thx and regards
