breadcrumbs – showing a different path

Hi, i am using a custom permalink plugin and my post breadcrumbs are incorrect.

here’s my case:
i have post category ‘case-study’ but i am not using the category in my permalink structure, instead i set it to /%postname%/.

i used the custom permalink plugin to make my posts under /case-studies/, a static page w/ dynamic content.

*my current url for posts under case-study category is domain/case-studies/post-name
*breadcrumbs – Home >> Post-Name

How can i make my breadcrumbs display Home >> case-studies >> post-name ??

I have search the web for answers including the old support page for yoast breadcrumbs, but no luck. I am not that code savvy, i hope i get some help here. Thanks.
