I am getting home and current page display when I use the Yoast breadcrumb block on my page but I am not getting the previous page that I am expecting – I should see home>>our work with books>>light on the horizon but I am only seeing home>>light on the horizon.

Can you help please, I am sure if it something small that I am missing?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @dunnamana1

Thanks for reaching out regarding your breadcrumbs. Visiting Our Work With Books, I see Home???Our Work With Books in the path which I believe is correct. The Yoast SEO plugin generates breadcrumbs based on your site structure.

Do you mean you want another page, Light On The Horizon Book to show in the breadcrumbs path?

    Hi there,

Correct, I need the three pages to show in the breadcrumbs. So the sequence is that I run the home page and select books from one of the cover blocks on the page – see attachment. This brings me into another page – our books and here I select Light on the Horizon. So I expect to see Home>>our books>>light on the horizon but I only see Home>>Light on the horizon. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the confirmation, @dunnamana1. Since the Yoast SEO plugin generates breadcrumbs based on your site structure, you must ensure your WordPress pages are hierarchical.

I see that Our Work With Books and Light On The Horizon Book are pages. So you must make Our Work With Books the parent of Light On The Horizon Book. This will ensure both shows in the breadcrumbs path as Home > Our Work With Books > Light On The Horizon Book.

Do let us know how it goes.
