    Hi,

After transferring my blog from fullfom.com to fullform.blog using WordPress built-in import export option, instead of showing Category name Breadcrumbs are showing some numbers and letters (check screenshot). I found a solution – untick the category >> retick the category >> update post option then Breadcrumbs are showing the correct category. This solution takes a lot of time since I need to update every post. Please tell me if any other solution is available. I also tried to deactivate then activate the plugin.
If I use Astra theme’s breadcrumbs then it is showing the correct category but I prefer Yoast SEO breadcrumbs because of customization options.

We understand you are concerned with breadcrumb not being outputted correctly after migrating your website. We can see how this might give you pause. We are happy to take a look! Let’s see what is going on.

Can you please try resetting our indexables in the database tables by following the steps below?
    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Hit the “Reset indexables & migrations” button.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “SEO Data Optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your pages.

Can you inform us of the results?

    Hi @suascat_wp

I followed above steps. Looks like “Reset indexables & migrations” is renamed to “Reset indexables tables & migrations”. Above steps does not solved Breadcrumbs issue. Shall I manually untick and retick categories? Now it is not big problem because I has to edit all posts as all internal links are pointing to old domain’s posts.

The above steps solved another small issue.
Before following the above steps number of internal links to posts is showing zero in the WordPress dashboard, after following above steps Yoast SEO is showing one internal link for all pages. Can you tell me whether that one internal link is from home page or category pages?

    Hi @naveendsouza

We’re sorry to hear that the resetting of the indexables tables & migrations data didn’t resolve the issue with the breadcrumbs. As it looks, clicking “update” on the post without making any other changes refreshes the information and then shows the correct breadcrumb, and might be the alternative here.

As for your other concern, the 2 columns in the posts overview are for the “number of outgoing internal links in this post” and “number of internal links linking to this post”. We can’t say for certain, but it depends on how you’ve added internal links between your pages. If you’ve added internal text links from your homepage and it references all of those posts in your screenshots, then it’s likely where the count of 1 is coming from.

However, just to be sure, we would recommend also going back to the Yoast Test Helper plugin and clicking on the ‘reset internal link counter’ button and then re-running the SEO data optimization tool, and it should show the updated and correct count of the internal text links.
