Since I updated to 14.1, the breadcrumb is not fully translated and it sticks to one language for the post name and category name (only the root link (home) is translated properly). It was ok with the previous version, 14.0.5 and <.
I had this issue with the old qTranslate-X plugin, so I decided to use the latest version of qTranslate-XT in case it will be fixed but it did not change anything.
So there must be something that has changed with Yaost SEO and how the breadcrumb is built. Thanks

We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue with the breadcrumbs on your site with the latest version.

If you have already confirmed that both Yoast SEO, qTranslate, and WordPress are up to date and the issue with the breadcrumbs is still occurring, we would next recommend performing a conflict check to check whether another plugin or the theme is interfering with the Yoast plugin’s output. We have a guide on performing a conflict check here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts

Can you please let us know whether the issue still occurs when using a default theme (such as TwentyNineteen) and only the Yoast SEO plugin and qTranslate are active?

I used the latest version for qtranslate, wordpress and yoast.
I have reverted to 14.0.4 and it fixed the issue so definitely there is something with the new version of yoast.

Hi @carmano we understand that this issue with the breadcrumbs occurs with v14.1 of Yoast SEO for WordPress, but when reverting to v14.0.4, this resolves it?

Based on the information you provided, we expect this to be a bug. We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository. Would it be possible for you to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new

You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/

Don’t forget to include the URL to this conversation in your bug report.

    Thanks @mikes41720, I created https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/15186
Yes reverting to the previous version fixes it.

We’re sorry to hear the breadcrumbs are not working with 14.0+. Technically, you are right and it looks like we broke something. However, we didn’t break it, we made a conscious decision to move our meta data, to speed up sites tremendously, and we offered new filters to multilingual plugins to update their integration. We communicated about this one month before the release of 14.0 but, unfortunately, it looks like qTranslate isn’t ready yet. That means you can’t update to Yoast SEO 14.0 or higher yet until their integration is ready.

We see that you have reported the issue to qTranslate here.

Same problem here, with all latest iterations (Yoast 15.2)
