    Hi

I have breadcrumbs showing correctly. Is it possible to have those breadcrumbs have hyperlinks? I am using WooCommerce, Elementor Pro.

For example if I have a hierarchical menu like:
    Shop <-| Cheetahs <-| 87cm

    However my link looks like:
    https://www.provectusdigital.com.au/cheetas87cm/

    Breadcrumbs show:
    Home ? Cheetahs ? 47cm

Now, “Cheetahs ? 47cm” is my page name.

How do I add cheetahs in my breadcrumbs with a hyperlink???

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @000x2a,

On your admin dashboard, navigate to Settings > Permalinks and make sure to do the following as shown in the image on the link.

    Hi Naz,

Thank you for your reply however this didn’t fix it. I somehow need to be able to add parent category links with WooCommerce? Not sure how though.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Please note that having hyperlinks in the breadcrumbs is WooCommerce’s default behavior. If it’s not working for you, that might mean that behavior is being changed by your theme or another plugin.

Please try testing with the Storefront theme.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Paulo,

Thank you kindly for your suggestion. Unfortunately, the storefront theme didn’t change the breadcrumbs and associated links. I suspect it has something to do with the way I am using the elementor pages in the menu?

Using my example as seen here:
    https://www.provectusdigital.com.au/cheetahs-47cm/

The problem is that I have a menu item for Cheetas which displays all cheetas
and a sub item of “cheetahs – 47cm”. Problem is that the parent category (menu item) cheetas does not display nor does it exist in the page hyperlink???

Does that give you any more to work with?

    Appreciate your time

Sorry, I didn’t notice you mentioned Elementor in your initial reply. Yes, that might be the reason.

This forum is dedicated to WooCommerce core issues. So, I would suggest you reach out to Elementor’s support, as they will have a better understanding of how to achieve your objectives with their plugin.
