breadcrumbs for lodestar

Hi there! I love the lodestar theme and appreciate the help Kokkie and team are giving so far!

Been using for years. However, I’d like to add breadcrumb to help users navgiate my website as it is growing larger.

How can I add breadcrumbs to my pages and posts? I’d like to be able to control it with CSS/HTML/PHP.

Can advice on a few simple lines of code for me to add to the .php file for the page and/or post templates?

Or, perhaps, any other elegant solutions (without slowing my site down or making it too cumbersome)?
