The Yoast SEO plugin takes the name from the page name. In this case, it could be that the name is missing from your front page. Can you please check the page you’re using as your front page and make sure you’ve added a title to this page? If not, does adding the title resolve the issue?

The parent page is the archive page of my custom post type.
I cant configure a title I think this is why i got this error.

Is there a place in the new version of Yoast option to configure it like in in this article : https://yoast.com/help/the-breadcrumbs-title-setting/ ?

I cant find the “breadcrumb settings for Articles archives”.

Are you able to edit the relevant archive page? If yes, you should be able to set the page title and as well as the breadcrumbs title on the relevant page as well.

However, if you are unable to edit the relevant archive page, can you please confirm whether the issue persists when switching to the default 2021 theme?

Can you please take a full page screenshot of Content Types settings in Yoast SEO?

Unless I’m mistaken, it is not possible to administer a custom post archive page in wordpress (so I cannot add / modify its name).

In a support document here https://yoast.com/help/the-breadcrumbs-title-setting/ there seems to be an option to add his name in our archive page but this field is not present in my BO.

Unfortunately I can’t swicth theme, it’s a production project for a client.

My theme is made width underscores.me base theme and the custom post type generator by wp-hasty.com. And my archive page respect the wordpress file architecture “archive-mycustomposttype.php”

I finally solved my bitch problem with this article: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/13015

Despite the fact that I don’t display my breadcrumbs on my site, I have to activate it in the yoast settings (Breadcrumbs > Enable Breadcrumbs for your theme).

Once activated, I finally have this field to add the name of my archive.

Now the google error has disappeared because the name of the archive (the parent of my post) has been taken into account.
