    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you let us know what version of WordPress and Yoast SEO you have installed on your site?

Also, please share a screenshot of what you have on your site in WordPress > SEO > Search Appearance > Breadcrumbs.

    Thanks for sharing.

The toggle button has been moved to the bottom. Using your screenshot, I have highlighted the button for your reference. See here.

As you can see in the screenshot, the breadcrums are disbled already but when I check it from view page source, I can see breadcrumblist schema still. Therefore, when I test my page, Google Rich Result Test Tool shows me 2 breadcrumb schema.

One of them is from Newspaper, another is from Yoast.

How can I remove Yoast’s Breadcrumb schema.

I thought, when i disabled it, it should be gone.

Thanks for providing that clarification. We understand that the Yoast SEO breadcrumb schema is getting outputted though you have disabled it.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention!

Luckily, a so-called “bug report” (a description of the issue, so we can fix it) is filed already.

    What’s next?
Our product team will assess the severity of this problem in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the bug report will be given a priority level. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate of when they’ll start working on your report.

As a workaround, you can add custom code to remove the breadcrumb schema from your site. You can find example code in the Yoast developer docs: How to exclude the Breadcrumb schema data

    Hi again,

I excluded Breadcrumb schema thanks to your documentation.

I hope, the bug fix soon.

Same problem here. My theme use the plugin “breadcrumb navxt” and after the recent Yoast update, Yoast’s breadcrumb schema started to be injected into the source code, even though it was disabled in the settings. This is causing structured data error warnings in Google Webmaster Tools

PS: the “function remove_breadcrumbs_from_schema” didn’t work for me
I downgraded to version 16.4 and temporarily the issue is resolved. Waiting for a solution in the next update.

I have been getting the same problem. I was not even using the Yoast breadcrumb, but when I check the page console it’s always there, even thoug it has been toggled off on the plugin settings. Besides that, I started to get an “Missing Item” error on my Search Console related to Yoast breadcrumbs. The “function remove_breadcrumbs_from_schema” also did not work for me.

several versions have been released since the first report of this issue, but so far (version 16.7) it hasn’t been fixed. I’m testing every update, but I always need to rollback to version 16.4 to prevent my pages from becoming invalid for Google structured content. I leave a screenshot of the error pointed out by Rich Test Results

I’m having the same issue. the button to toggle between enabled/disabled is missing completely. I’ve tried editing the code to set the display to false instead of true and that’s not working either…
