Looks like the Yoast Seo support is not interested in answering my issue.
Sad! but i have no option other than to migrate to Rank Math. Very disappointed.

    Hello @muhammadshafiq,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your breadcrumbs. I understand that you noticed the breadcrumbs after disabling the “breadcrumbs from your theme” within the Yoast SEO settings. Kindly note that once you disable the Yoast SEO breadcrumb output via our settings page, it actually disables the breadcrumb showing within the post or page (within the frontend). Still, we do output the breadcrumb schema via the page source.
If you’d like to remove the Yoast breadcrumbs schema from the source code, you need to add the filter within our developer documentation here: https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/api/#removing-graph-pieces.
We hope you will try the above filter and keep using the Yoast SEO plugin on your website.

Thanks for the reply @maybellyne ! But the issue is that i want to exclude breadcrumbs from all archives and home page. I only want to show it on posts.

I am using Yoast Seo since 2 years and i think this automatic injection of the breadcrumbs feature has been added recently. Before that i used to add schema via the short php code and order my theme to show the breadcrumbs schema only on certain type of page i.e Singular posts only. I need the same thing now. I dont want the plugin to add breadcrumbs schema to my site globally.

    Hi @muhammadshafiq

The addition of the breadcrumb schema in the Yoast SEO plugin was included since around Yoast SEO 11.0 when we started introducing structured data output as one of the features of the plugin.

If you want to have the breadcrumb schema output on only certain posts or pages, you can check out our Schema API on how you can modify the default output – https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/api/#removing-graph-pieces
