Breadcrumbs and Tags?

  • I have the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin installed, and I’m looking to add a “breadcrumb trail” as a “sub-header” in the page.

    What I was wondering was if there are any breadcrumb plugins that support tags?

    Ideally, if I click on a category, I’d like to see

    Home >> Favorite Bathtime Gargles >> Ode to a Rubber Duck

    Assuming the post has the tag “Goodyear” attached to it (does Goodyear make rubber ducks?), clicking on the tag would result in

    Home >> Tags >> Goodyear

    I’ve examined a couple of breadcrumb plugins and none seem to do this.

    And hey – while I’m wishing…

    How about if an item exists in more than one category, it shows both breadcrumb trails?

    Home >> Favorite Bathtime Gargles >> Ode to a Rubber Duck
    Home >> Really bad poetry >> Ode to a Rubber Duck

    This might need a limiter though – say, only the top X trails (determined by variable, counting the number of entries in the top level category – so really the X most popular categories).

    Same problem as CharlesKrause mentioned.
    I wonder if there are any compatible breadcrumb plugins for tags?
