Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. The Yoast SEO breadcrumbs are generated based on your site structure. Can you share the URL of the page you’re referring to so I can understand what you want to achieve?

Yes, I would like to have the category removed from the URL under the breadcrumbs because I have my own site and do not want to have a redirect from /category/blog/ to the blog page.

It doesn’t seem like the breadcrumbs is generated by Yoast SEO. Please ensure you’ve implemented the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs by following this article – https://yoast.com/help/implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs/. Next, share a screenshot of what you have in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Advanced > Breadcrumbs.
