Breadcrumb Parent Pages vs. Categories

I know this topic has been discussed, but I am completely stuck on how to make this work. Rather than generate the portfolio category for the 2nd level breadcrumb, I want it to create a link to the parent PAGE. For example, on this page here, it lists “Dog Boarding & Daycare” twice in the breadcrumbs.

I’d like to replace the first instance with a link to “Services“. I tried Breadcrumb NavXT, but couldn’t make it function this way. I’m really at the end of my rope and am considering a very ugly Jquery hack to make it work. Any advice appreciated!
