  • Try to disable the permalinks (the rewrite that is) and enable them again.

    Solved it for me.

    Thanks, MassimoD

I tried every variation I could; but, it refuses to work for me.

    ??

Just select the first option (Default) and SAVE. Does it work with that ?

Also if this is an update and you have installed previous versions, create a page named events (or whatever slug you have in events) and add it to the menu.

One of the above solved the very same problem for me.

When I try that, I get this error message:

    Not Found

The requested URL /events/ was not found on this server.

    Apache/2.2.22 (Debian) Server at coffeehouse.graphicsolutiongroup.com Port 80

    This is so frustrating…

Also, Are there no short codes?

    No shortcodes. no.

Do you have a Page named events and is it added to the menu ?

    Thread Starter Doug

Yes, there is a page labeled Events; but, it has no content, no short code, no discernible way to link it as a Calendar page that I can tell.

    Puzzled,

When Permalink is changed to Postname, I get this for the breadcrumb:

    Home ? Error 404

    Is it me?

no shorcode is needed, so what you see is ok.

    Thread Starter Doug

    (@douggraphicsolutiongroupcom)

But, again, why does the breadcrumb say Error 404?

Also i would suggest to hold on for an update that is due very soon.

    Thanks, MassismoD

    Your help is much appreciated.

I will look at the link and do more digging.

    Peace, Doug

    Ok, thanks again…

The patch mentioned on the support forum breaks my page, I’m using the Kickstart theme from themeforest. Is there another fix I could try? Or is there a timeframe for the next maintenance release? Would this be fixed if I purchased pro?
