I’m finding the Breadcrumb NavXT plug-in essential, but have just one glitch I can’t resolve.

I’m only using it as a sidebar “You are here: ” widget. This works wonderfully. But I’m ALSO seeing the breadcrumb trail at the upper left of my background outside the blog confines (widescreen). If I reduce the width of the window, it shifts toward center, but still goes above the blog borders.

How can I keep this second path from appearing?

  • Michael,

Do you have a link to the affected page? My first guess is that you have a second call to the breadcrumb trail somewhere in your theme code, for some reason it is not getting styled correctly and is showing up in a odd place.

I’ve checked through all my php files for “breadcrumb” and can’t find an instance. Perhaps I’m overlooking something. The actual test site with the problem is pokerstorm.com.

Am I correct in assuming that activating the widget should ONLY put the path inside the widget itself and nowhere else?

    Thanks for responding!

You were right. I found the extra breadcrumb code at the top of the theme’s page.php. I don’t know how it got there.

    Thanks very much!

No problem, just remember to close this topic/set it to resolved
