    Hi devri,

As this plugin is very new, I have not yet planned visual optimizations to themes. This means that the code you’ve provided will not output the breadcrumbs when Yoast SEO is deactivated.

However, the breadcrumb of The SEO Framework is generated “hidden” through a JSON-LD (multiple) script, without any theme adjustments. More information about it is found right here: https://developers.google.com/structured-data/breadcrumbs?hl=en

This means that Google picks up on more breadcrumbs for a more beautiful structured data.

Also, if you’re willing to find alternatives and if your theme doesn’t support outputting breadcrumbs by default, please take a look at an alternative front-end breadcrumb plugin. I think this one would suffice (I have no experience with it and can’t provide support for it).

I hope this helps! Let me know if you require any more assistance ??
    Enjoy your day! ??

    Hi,

thank you very much for your answer. I will check it out. I got a little confused about the “LD+Json Breadcrumbs script” in the plugin description.

    Hi Sybre,

“Breadcrumb NavXT” works and does the job. I switched of the yoast seo plugin and migrated to your plugin.

Thank you for your support and advice!
