  • What’s the underlying HTML structure of the breadcrumb? You might be able to just use CSS and hide the first “node” element and “/” of the breadcrumb if the HTML structure makes it easy enough to target with CSS.

    Sorry but where do I find the structure? I believe I provided the screenshot links in my OP for Breadcrumb NavXT plugin settings.

    Ok found the fix…

    In the Breadcrumb NaXt > General tab

    Place the home breadcrumb in the trail. (turned off).

    Using your browser, use “view source” (or your browser’s developer tools, right click on the breadcrumb area and select “Inspect Element”) to see the underlying HTML structure.

    Also, it looks like the plugin is available through the WordPRress.org plugin repo here – have you tried contacting the plugin developer for support here?
