breadcrumb across multi sites

  • Hi all
    I have set up multi sites as I am using a different site to hold different categories. This was to work round the issues of a drill down taxonomy search.

    however I now have the issue of breadcrumbs across multi sites.
    Does anyone know how to get breadcrumbs to work across multi sites so it remembers the breadcrumbs from the first site is came from?

    For this kind of application, you might find it less hassle to use different custom post types within a single site rather than separate sites within a multisite setup.

    The problem is I am using two categories and a drill down taxonomy search which I can’t control the archive page for.
