[Brave][Error] Happens when unsubscribed visitors try to resubscribe

    I’m using the brave popup to subscribe users to mailchimp and are using 1 email field. FNAME and LNAME exist in our audience list on Mailchimp side.

    I am receiving these error emails:

    Hi,

Your Brave Campaign 'Main subscribe' failed to subscribe a visitor to your Newsletter mailing list (Due to mailchimp API issues, incomplete data or other reasons).
Please add the visitor to your list manually from your mailchimp Dashboard: 

First Name: Not Given
Last Name: Not Given
Email Address: [email protected]

    After some testing I am able to see that we get the errors if a user is already on the contact list, but has previously unsubscribed. If they try to resubscribe, we get the error. Is there a fix for this?

    @ictinus Mailchimp actually does not allow unsubscribed users to resubscribe using their API. But good news is you can manually subscribe them from the Mailchimp Dashboard.

    So whenever you get the error email from Brave, you can manually subscribe them.
