Brands on variation product

  • Hi!
    I am using a plugin to display variations of products on shop pages. The problem is that the variation doesn’t seem to inherit the brand from the main product, do you have a solution for this? the default function with tags and categories works, even on the variation products.

    This require integration with the plugin you are using. Please provide its name. We will add it to the feature-request list and add it when we can.

    I am talking about the shop page feature, the brand is only listed on the main product, not the variations. I am using the woosuite – show variation plugin:

    Hi Fredric,

    To show brands on the variation products shown by the plugin you are using that plugin must use all the same hooks as general product has. Or there should be direct integration in one of the plugins.

    If brands are not shown the plugin you are using have own product output structure and it is missing needed hooks.

    We don’t have integration with that plugin. We don’t have enough time now to add it. You can contact other side. Maybe they have time for this.
