Brands and sub-brands separate filter

    Hello!
    My question is about Filter by brand widget.
    Let’s use this hierarchy:

    Brand1
    – SubBrand11
    – SubBrand12
    Brand2
    – SubBrand21
    – SubBrand22

    etc.

    When I’m on the main shop page with filter widget activated, I can see all my brands in sidebar with checkboxes, but there are brands and subbrands all together and there are no any defference between them.

    I wonder if it is any way to organize filter items? Ideally is to make some 2-step filter: at first we see only parent or single brands, and when we choose one of them, the next level appears if present (let’s have 2-lvl limit here).
