    I would imagine that would require an API on bit.ly’s part that would have to be be authorized and authenticated with your account. I haven’t looked into the possibility of doing this and as such, that functionality is not part of this plugin.

    I’m not sure if there are other plugins out there that integrate with bit.ly, but I imagine if it’s possible, there might already be something out there.

    bitly has an official plugin but surprisingly it’s unsupported. the ones i did find aren’t ready for prime time.
