Brand New twenty ten theme. Want to remove comments

  • I have a brand new theme, all I want to do now is remove comments.

    Also I want to get rid of this:
    “Posted on May 11, 2011 by admin”
    “This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink.”

    All I want is the title and whatever I post to actually come up.

    I edited the loop-single.php file. Hooray! it works!

    I’m new to wordpress and I’d like to make the same changes you did. I’m also using the TwentyTen theme. Can you outline the specific edits you made in the loop-single.php file for me? Thanks.

    I’ve made changes following someone else’s code and I’ve made so many changes since a month ago that I’m not precisely sure. Start a new thread or keep searching and you should find your answer. Sorry
