Good question Jimmy.

Now, the only thing that is customizable (in this version) is to show/hide the card badges. You can even customize which cards do your webshop welcomes or not.

The Braintree logo is somehow fixed. It is there with the aim to tell the customer “Hey, your payment is secure with us. Look, we are backed up by Braintree!”

Usually if you click that Braintree badge it will open a new tab with the following address:
> https://www.braintreegateway.com/merchants/your-merchant-id/verified

Braintree tells your customer that you – the your-merchant-id – take the security very seriously. This is important for your customers (I think) because you want them to put their card info in your website.

I told you the background of the story. But now I think I could create a new option that will allow you to opt if you want to let there the badge or not (ultimately it’s your website/business, not mine; I just want to make a good software that will make the online space just a bit better).

So expect a new release/update in the next 2-3 days ??

option to choose between Braintree logo and CC brands would be handy.
People not related to payments does not know what is Braintree and this could be confusing.

Yes indeed, people might be confused about Braintree/PayPal/whatever.

You suggested to opt between A and B. I think that the outmost flexibility could be gained if you can opt individually, once for A (the cards badges) and once for the B (the Braintree badge). If this is what you meant then it is in-line with my earlier answer.

I read again your suggestion.

Did you suggested that the cards badges to be displayed on the same area where the Braintree badge is and optionally the Braintree badge to be displayed where the cards badges are for the moment?

I ask this because it makes sense. You want probably that your customers to see immediately the payment method like this:
