Braintree drop form not showing

    The Braintree drop in form has stopped showing on the checkout page and also the apple pay button on the basket page.

    I’m have been using storefront theme, with a child theme for the customisation elements for the site, and have not enabled any new plugins but have updated the Braintree plugin during the week.

    Hi @cnchambers,

    Can you double check the URL you provided? That link isn’t working. I was able to find a site at https://shop.mwscouts.org/ however.

    Are you using a currency switcher of any kind? What version were you using before you updated to 3.0.5?

    When I inspect your checkout page you only have two gateways enabled, bacs and cheque. Can you confirm that you have the Braintree Credit Card gateway and the Braintree ApplePay gateways enabled in your settings?

    Hi. Managed to track down the issue this morning. Although the gatways were enabled in the Braintree settings, after the plugin update the gateways were no longer authorised in the “WooCommerce Role Based Methods” plugin.
    I have now re-authorised the methods and it is working. It therefore appears that something in the Braintree plugin update process caused the role based authorisation settings to change.

    Thanks for confirming. I suspect the issue can be tracked back to some of the gateways being renamed during the 3.0.1 update. An example is the CC gateway used to be called braintree_payments_gateway but now it’s braintree_cc for clarity.
