    Hello Antburnett,

Some specifics would go a long way such as are you using the WooCommerce Subscriptions integration or the stand alone subscriptions? If the subscription is set to start in the future, then most likely the add on has not been applied yet. What is the status of the subscription in Braintree? If pending, then the add on one time fee will be applied at the time the first recurring payment is charged.

Login to Braintree and locate the subscription. Look at the recurring payment and also the next billing period amount. Verify if that amount has the subscription fee plus the add on fee.

    Kind Regards,
    Clayton

    Thank you, Clayton.

Using the stand-alone subscriptions, i.e. not a WooCommerce Subscription.

The first bill date is “Immediately”. There is an add-on attached to the plan has a number of recurring cycles set to one.

When I drill into the transaction in Braintree, there is one subscription with the recurring amount of $65. The transaction total is the correct amount of $165 ($65 plus one-off $100). So it is correct in Braintree after all after drilling into the detail.

However, the invoice that was raised on the WordPress side of things does not show the one-off amount. That is, the invoice sent to the customer would not be for the amount that was actually taken from their credit card. This could be a real problem!

    Hi,

Because of the nature of Add Ons, I would recommend that you set up email receipts from Braintree. This will ensure that your customer receives an accurate invoice.

    Kind Regards,

That is a perfect workaround – thanks Clayton.
