Bp Better Messages Email Notification Issue

Hi there were few queries regarding notifications.

I read the following in ur Faq, about email notifications.

Instead of standard notification on each new message, plugin will group messages by thread and send it every 15 minutess with cron job.

User will not receive notifications, if they are disabled in user settings.
User will not receive already read messages.
User will not receive notifications, if he was online last 10 minutes or he has tab with opened site

1. I am not receiving any kind of BP better messages notification even after fullfilling the criteria. I am using SendinBlue SMTP for mail delivery, and also i am able to receive various other notifications from other plugins such as BNFW. Is this problem because i don’t have buddy press?. I have never liked buddy press and i use ur plugin standalone, so is that the problem, if yes then is there a way to have email notifications without buddy press, and if no then help me figure out the problem.

2. Is there a way possible to send push notifications to users, for new incoming messages, this will be huge help in improving user engagement. Additionally it would be amazing is user has the option to opt-in and our for notifications for every individual chat.
