I’ve created a box that works perfectly. It appears only on English pages, as I’ve added a rule – <if URL contains /en/>.
Now I want to add a second rule, to exclude the box from a specific page – but I can’t because Box Options doesn’t show a button to create another rule (it just shows the text: “Add another rule”.

If I start again from scratch with a completely new box, the button is there. It’s tedious because I have to start over every time.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

Do do you want to show the box on all pages with /en/ except a few that you want to specify?

Yes – exactly that. I think know how to do it but I can’t set a second rule because the button to add another rule vanishes once I’ve set the first rule and tested it.
I think I can do it – but I have to set both rules at the same time (after I’ve tested them separately).

    Hello,

Please check the screenshot at https://www.dropbox.com/s/ys07snocfkheopz/Screenshot%202019-11-21%2010.24.15.png?dl=0.

Are you not able to save rules similar to this?

    Hi Harish

Your screenshot is what I want to see.

If I create a box, publish it and then come back to edit it, what I see is shown in this screenshot: https://www.cent-cinq.fr/en/boxzilla/

    You see my problem?

    Hello,

Can you please confirm if you are using the latest version of our plugin? Also, can you please share a screenshot of the browser console so we can see if there are any errors?

If you are using Chrome, then to see the browser console, right-click on empty space in the tab where you are editing the pop-up and then click on “Inspect” menu. Later click on the “Console” tab.

    Hello again
    I’m using version 5.3
I’ve added the screenshot to https://www.cent-cinq.fr/en/boxzilla/
I don’t normally use Chrome, so I hope I followed your instructions correctly!

    I have the same problem.

It says “Add another rule”, but there is no button.

I’m using the latest version of the plugin.

    Glad I’m not alone.
I don’t know if it’s relevant but I use Firefox, too.

    @peeyabbs @jummi1,

The “Add another rule” is the button but for some reason, the layout seems incorrect on your setup. Does clicking on that link do anything?

    (@jummi1)

@hchouhan: There is no link, it looks like the screenshot posted by @peeyabbs.

It shows the text “Add another rule”, but there is no link/button.

I thought maybe it’s a plugin, but the blocking / malware / etc. plugins are all disabled for my wordpress site. So I don’t think anything is interfering.

    Strange…

I know why this doesn’t work – bad markup.

The table that wraps that stuff is: <table class="form-table">.

It contains incorrect html. No wonder it doesn’t work.

I assume other browsers fix/ignore incorrect markup (like IE is known to do), but on firefox it refuses to render semantically incorrect markup.

Check that section and you’ll see what I mean. Firefox actually shows that markup in red when you “view source”.

    Hello,

We use Javascript to add the link to that element. What exactly is wrong in the markup that can you share?

Also, we tested in Firefox as well and cannot replicate the issue. So please reach out to us using the method my colleague suggested above.
