I have entered a javascript that should show a banner with the score that the site owner received through a external party. This banner links to a website to enable the visitor leave a review.
The boxzilla box appears but unfortunatally does not show the banner. (on the bottom right)
The script is entered using the HTML view.

Also I am getting a “Internal server error” sometimes when activating the test mode. I did not have this error before.
WP Debug log is noty showing errors.

    WP 4.8.1
    Boxzilla: 3.1.16

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The “Internal Server Error” seems to have solved with update from php 5.5 to 7.1

    Hi,

I’m glad the internal server error is solved, to know what is was exactly you would need to find the actual error message in your Apache log.

The script is not loaded inside the box at all. Does the script work if you put it on a normal page, outside the Boxzilla box?

    Thanks,

    Hi Lap

Good to point that out, I only checked the WP debug. I will look in the Apache log for the cause of the internal server error.

Yes, the script works fine in a normal page. See: https://eddywenneker.nl/hac/test/
It’s the thing that starts with “advieskeuze.nl” .

    Thank you

    Hi Edwin,

I think it might have to do with this: “Failed to execute ‘write’ on ‘Document’: It isn’t possible to write into a document from an asynchronously-loaded external script unless it is explicitly opened.”

I can ask @dvankooten about this when he is back in office next week.

    Hi Lap

Okay, that gets me thinking for an alternative way.
I will let me know if I succeed. Otherwise we will have to wait for the expert.

    Hi Lap

Got it figured out. I placed the script on a blank static(html) page and placed this in an iframe in Boxzilla. That wordks and is for this situation fine.

Thank you for getting me on the right way.

    Regards
    Edwin

Ha, creative solution. Glad you worked it out.

I’ll keep the follow up on this issue just internal to our company then, and close this ticket as “resolved”.

    Thanks for letting us know!
