• Resolved NOT-IN-USE-DELETE

    (@rogerwheatley)

The plugin used to work, now it does not. Here is the outputted (web browser) generated code (when using the “button” the plugin adds to the WordPress editor:

    <span class="bctt-click-to-tweet"><span class="bctt-ctt-text"><a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://www.XXXXXXXXXX.com/?p=101935&text=Vivamus%20posuere%20lacus%20sit%20amet&related" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Vivamus posuere lacus sit amet </a></span><a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://www.XXXXXXXXXX.com/?p=101935&text=Vivamus%20posuere%20lacus%20sit%20amet&related" target="_blank" class="bctt-ctt-btn" rel="noopener noreferrer">Click To Tweet</a></span>

The grey box will appear, but the text inside, does not appear. Removing quotes does not fix the issue. Making sure normal quotes are used does not fix the issue.

    Any thoughts? Any fixes available?

    Thank you!

    Update…

I finished trying this on three different websites, currently being developed (one with zero plugins yet), it does not work on any of them. Just displays a grey bordered box, with white background and no text displaying.

I’m not sure what more to suggest here?

    Question…

There may be a browser related compatibility issue in how the plugin works?
Why? ==> I’ve been advised that some can see the text (yet others cannot).

    Hi folks.

Make sure that the quotation marks that you are using are NOT “curly quotes” by switching to the text editor.

Let me know if you are still experiencing problems on version 5.6.0 which I just released.

    Thanks!
